the waiting is the hardest part...

Tom Petty was right- the waiting truly is the hardest part.  Summer feels a lot like biding time to me which I don't really like.  I've always been a proponent of enjoying the season you're in and practicing gratitude for the gifts of the day and all of that.  I'm definitely no Ann Voskamp , but I feel like I have learned to love where I'm at and the people I'm with, even if I didn't choose it. the month of Ramadan

I know it's been a while since I posted but since today marks day 1 of Ramadan, I thought I'd link to this great resource. We live within walking distance to a pretty large mosque and many Muslims. Although I haven't initiated friendships with any of them, I do feel burdened for them. This website encourages you to pray each day this month for the Muslims around you. http://www.30-days.net/muslims/category/featured/ I have ordered their 30-day prayer booklet in the past but was delighted that there's an email version of it available now. Please join me in praying!
